Education

I’m a proud graduate of Colorado School of Mines and the University of Houston, where I had the privilege of learning from some of the brightest minds in geophysics and the energy industry. These experiences helped shape my understanding of problem-solving, especially through the application of the scientific method.

After earning my B.Sc. in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, I started my career at Marathon Oil. After three years, I decided to expand my expertise by pursuing an M.Sc. in Geology at the University of Houston, focusing on petroleum geology. This decision allowed me to bridge knowledge gaps I identified during my time in the industry. My capstone thesis, “Deepwater Seismic Stratigraphy for Shallow Water Flow,” explored seismic interpretation in complex geological environments under the guidance of Dr. Janok Bhattacharya.

As a lifelong learner, I continue to build on my education by delving into cutting-edge fields like programming, data science, artificial intelligence, and unmanned aviation. I’m driven by the pursuit of knowledge, constantly identifying gaps and working to fill them as thoroughly as possible
