About me
Hello, I’m Robert!
I’m a CSM & UH grad in Geology & Geophysics. My professional interests are Oil & Gas, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Drones.
I am always competing with myself. Every day I try to be better than I was the previous day. Small steps lead to great progress.
My time at CSM taught me how to approach problems and how to go about solving them. I’ve carried that through my career. I am detail oriented, inquisitive, and try to always approach life and work from a moral and ethical mindset.
In 2021 I received my part 107 certificate from the FAA allowing me to perform commercial drone work in the U.S.
Lastly, I want to leave you with the impression that safety and environmental stewardship are top priorities of mine. I believe that corporate profits should reflect making a positive impact to the community where we live, where we operate, and to the world in general. Earth is the best home we’ve ever had and may ever have, so we should take care to keep it clean, no matter the cost.

Mapping
I am a map maker. Regardless of whether it is from 3d seismic interpretations, geospatial information, or photogrammetry, I am a visual learner and making maps helps me understand and tell a complete story.
Data & Analytics
I love to combine data and analytics so that the past can shine a light on the future. I really enjoy thinking about natural distributions, statistics, and how those relate to the science I work with each day
Oil & Gas
I’m the quintessential, modern day, oil man. I’ve worked in the upstream doing exploration, appraisal, development and production. Oil & Gas are like a really complex puzzle and I love piecing it all together.
A.I.
Artificial intelligence and robotic autonomy have completely captured my fascination. Everything from problem solving with machine learning, programming chatbots, all the way to sophisticated autonomous drone flight. If it’s A.I… I ‘m into it!
