Education

I’m a proud graduate of Colorado School of Mines and University of Houston where I was able to learn from the best minds in geophysics and industry.  I learned a lot of different things, but the most important learning for me is how to use the scientific method to solve problems.

After completing my B.Sc. in Geophysical Engineering, I began working for Marathon Oil. After 3 years, I decided to pursue the M.Sc. while working.  I switched to focus on Geology to make up for knowledge gaps that I had recognized from my time in industry.

As a life-long learner, I’ve continued my education by furthering my knowledge in programming, data science, artificial intelligence, and unmanned aviation.  I simply look for the gaps in my knowledge, and then try to fill it as much as possible.
